Responsibilities
SCANA Corporation
is seeking experienced candidate for public affairs supervisory position
to oversee media relations and strategic communication planning for
company related issues and projects in the Charleston/Low Country area
of South Carolina.
Qualifications
A minimum of seven years public relations and/or media communication
experience required. Both supervisory and on-camera experience
preferred. Candidates must have the ability to work independently and
act decisively in coordinating and directing projects and issues that
impact company reputation. Additional requirements include a BA in
Journalism, English, or related medium, excellent oral and written
skills, excellent composure under stress, quick-learner with ability to
translate complex issues/topics. This position requires after-hours
media duty on a rotating basis and being on call 24/7 for company
emergencies.
